In 1981 after XXZ-99Z was reached, the next series started at XA-10AA. (Farmer plates will/would use XYA-10A through XZZ-99Z.)

Commercial plates from 1973 through 1982 expired in March.
Starting in late 1983, all months were used.

A small group of plates in the XM series was made with the NJ map separator in the wrong place.
The known range is from XM13-SZ to XM53-TC.

One plate in this set of 1988/89 commercial plates was made with the lower bolt holes in the wrong place.
The other one is fine. They were both used on a vehicle.

The last of the blue plates were issued up through 1994 with 1995 stickers,
even though the new graphic base came out in 1993.
The last issued blue commercial plate was XX-99ZZ.
Apparently somebody was trying to display every single sticker in a different place on this plate.
In the newest picture, it has 15 separate visible stickers.
