These early stickers are mainly produced for use on classic cars.
That's 'cause an old car looks waaaay cooler with a crappy fake sticker on the windshield. Right ? Right ?
Most of the pictures below are from eBay ... being sold to adorn classic cars all over Jew Jersey.
Trouble is, they're not even close.
They all have variants of 900, 2112 and 2327 in the serial numbers.
I didn't even want to make the effort to straighten the photos... ack !!
The ones below I have taken on car windshields at car shows where classic car owners proudly display them. Ouch.
Notice the serial numbers ... containing 307429. Oh, what a giveaway !!
They're all made by the same guy (RH).
These modern stickers are produced in order to avoid inspections.
They are either completely fake stickers, or real stickers that have somehow been changed by the owners to misrepresent the expiration date.
Some are quite interesting... I show some actual stickers here for comparison purposes.

I have been looking at cars for sale on craigslist recently ... it's a good source to grab pictures of windshield stickers.
I've also found some pictures (well, a lot really) of fake stickers there as well.
